- Maintain production and site services equipment to the highest standard.
- Carry out expert fault-finding, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures.
- Implement and optimise Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules.
- Ensure full, accurate capture of all works through CMMS systems and strict stock control adherence.
- Identify engineering upgrades that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and OEE.
- Support capital projects and the introduction of new machinery with seamless integration.
- Work cross-functionally with production and factory management to deliver practical, innovative solutions.
- Champion initiatives that reduce energy use, waste, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure 100% compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in audits and proactively address engineering-related risks.
- Uphold statutory requirements including PUWER, LOLER, and DESEAR.
- On-time completion of planned maintenance
- Reduction in unplanned downtime
- Improvements in OEE and efficiency
- Full compliance with audits and inspections
- Demonstrable cost and energy savings
- 100% stock accuracy and CMMS record capture
About You
- Proven experience in an engineering role within manufacturing or food production
- Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge with first-class diagnostic ability
- Experience with PPM, reliability-centred maintenance, and CI techniques

- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to make decisions under pressure
- A proactive mindset focused on operational excellence
