    Hygiene Operative

    Do you take pride in maintaining high standards and keeping things spotless? We're looking for a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our night hygiene team at Ramsey and play a vital role in ensuring our factory remains clean, safe, and compliant with food safety standards.

    Shift : Monday to Friday 6pm to 2.30am

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Carrying out detailed cleaning of factory areas and machinery to the highest standards.
    • Ensuring excellent hygiene standards are maintained throughout the site.
    • Monitoring and reporting any concerns regarding chemical effectiveness.
    • Following all Health & Safety procedures, policies, and chemical safety training.
    • Ensuring food safety concerns are reported immediately to management.
    • Correctly disposing of waste and maintaining waste segregation procedures.
    • Completing hygiene records and documentation accurately.
    • Supporting Production, Engineering, and Technical teams to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Reporting hygiene, safety, or equipment issues promptly.
    • Using PPE, cleaning equipment, and tools safely and correctly, ensuring they are well maintained at all times.

    What We're Looking For

    • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
    • Strong understanding of hygiene and cleanliness requirements.
    • Knowledge of cleaning methods and COSHH regulations beneficial.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Flexible approach and willingness to support changing business needs.
    • Positive attitude and desire to contribute to continuous improvement.
    • Strong awareness of health, safety, and food safety requirements.
    • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality.
